DATE OF FOUNDATION OF MUNICIPALITIES OF CÓRDOBA
Lorica is the oldest municipality in the department of Córdoba, with origins dating back to the 17th century. The capital, Montería, was founded on May 1, 1777 and is today the main urban center of the department.
