CHORUS
Santandereanos, always forward!
Santandereanos, not a step back!
Santandereanos, always forward!
Santandereanos, not a step back!
With courage as our banner
And freedom as our shield.
With courage as our banner,
And freedom as our shield.
We are ourselves the heirs
of the flags that from honor
yesterday planted the communeros
on this land, under this sun.
We are now the forgers
of a new world of peace and faith
where threads and loves are intertwined
and the plows with the laurel.
Audacious sons of proud heath
to which we love with frenzy
we are the race that fights and dreams
in the conquest of the future.
That's why, brave santandereanos,
always forward, not a step back!
Always arrogant, because we carry
in our blood the freedom!
in our blood the freedom!
