CHORUS

Sucre is a treasure of unparalleled beauty,
its green mountains, its streams and its sea
Sucre has a paradise, in the spell
of its pastures;
it is my entire land
a great spring garden

I

Colombian Homeland
is my Sucre the most beautiful thing in my soil
where the sky stretches
in the waters of the beautiful blue sea.

II

I am a Sucreño from the heart
my green and white flag is joy,
I am a lover of peace and harmony,
progress, justice and reason.

III

Sucre the great fertility
of its fields gives you its wealth,
your crops and pastures
are national heritage
your crops and pastures
are national heritage.

IV

Colombian Homeland
is my Sucre the most beautiful thing in my soil
where the sky stretches
in the waters of the beautiful blue sea.

V

Sucre, glorious Marshal,
this land is a monument to your memory,
with pride you will look from history,
our soil that already bears your name.

VI

Sucre, your people will follow
in peace your path of greatness
and we will be with nobility a great national example,
and we will be with nobility
a great national example.
